A legend in her own right, Yubicela Brito is one of the most talented and the sweetest person I know. She is an award winning actress, a hip-hop dancer in the Foot Klan break dance crew, radio show co-host, internet talk show host, and a model to boot. Her pleasant personality and continually optimistic outlook on life is completely refreshing. I had the pleasure of leisurely spending a few hours to take her picture. Without hesitation she began to show me all avenues of her talent, as well as carry fun filled conversation. :-) Could you believe she's actually hilarious too! She had me laughing and smiling the whole time, making goofy faces, and poses. It was such a blast!

Yubicela is on the brink of her local celebrity with so many opportunities, but she remains one of the most humble, teachable people I know. Would you believe me if I told you she's an astronaut? No, she really isn't, but she does volunteer with at risk youth in her free time as well as take on roles in several short films, music videos, television episodes, and appears all over town in countless capacities. You might have heard of her, "You Be Cool" or "You Be Awesome", or maybe "You Be Sell-a". I know, I know, all of this might be a bit hard to believe, like alligators in the sewers, but all that you've heard about Yubicela is true. Yubicela is Phoenix's very own Urban Legend.
